The TIC6831ER-F50-4X38P is a Dual Spectrum Thermal IP PTZ Camera from Uniview. What is a ‘Dual Spectrum’ Camera? The Camera has both an optical and a thermal lens to capture heat signatures and data that a standard optical camera can not. The images display on one of your NVR’s IP channels but you see two different images. You may be familiar with thermal imaging and how it can capture information based on heat signatures. If so, you know that thermal images can be extremely useful in the right environment.

In addition to Thermal and Optical imaging, the TIC6831 has several other advantageous features. Lighthunter Technology keeps your optical images in color in extremely low light levels. What about Complete Darkness? No problem, the PTZ has up to 492 feet of night vision capabilities. With an extreme temperature range of -40°F to +158°F (Optical) and -14°F to +122°F (Thermal) you can certainly use this IP Camera in harsher environments.
