True WDR

True WDR

WDR is Wide Dynamic Range which is a technology that allows security cameras to provide detailed images in complex lighting environments. For example, a Security Camera inside that is facing out of a door or window. Since the inside of the building is fairly dark compared to the bright sun coming through the window, a complex scene is created. WDR takes multiple images to provide detail in both light values, therefore providing detailed images across the scene.

TRUE WDR means 120dB WDR as opposed to Digital WDR which is not nearly as effective.
