You may already know that Active Deterrence, or Tri-Guard Technology is designed to stop crime before it happens. This Auto-Tracking Mini IP PTZ from Uniview has a number of unique features you can count on to deter intruders from your property or facility. Most of you have likely seen motion detection floodlights that come on when motion is detected. The IPC6324LWH-AX5C-VG2 operates on the same principal, but attached to a Full 4MP HD PTZ Camera! Adding this Camera to your security solution is almost like hiring a guard but you only have to pay them once. It detects the intruder, warns them with lights and siren, and records them. Active Deterrence
The purpose of active deterrence is that once a stranger enters the view of the camera, a strobe light will be triggered and a built-in speaker plays a voice suitable for different scenes. Therefore, the Active Deterrence Mini PTZ camera can be used for discouraging unwanted intrusions. You can use the PTZ in parking lots, to remind pedestrians not to walk in certain areas. In addition to perimeter detection purposes, it is suitable for villas, construction sites, and private property. The Mini PTZs built-in speaker will play a voice “Alert area, go out of here as soon as possible” when an intruder wants to enter the forbidden area.
Unique Video Surveillance Applications
Compared with traditional video surveillance, the active deterrence mini PTZ can actively prevent unwanted intrusions by strangers or those wanting to do harm. Once it detects the intruders, the PTZ will trigger the strobe light and audio alarm. This feature serves two main functions. First, the intruder knows they have been noticed and are far more likely to leave the area immediately. Second, the person now knows they are on video surveillance which stops intruders before they attempt to enter the prohibited area.
How the Active Deterrence Mini IP PTZ works
In order to deter intruders accurately, the active deterrence mini PTZ is aimed to detect human body so it filters the false alarms by small animals or other irrelevant objects. The siren is designed with Red and Blue lights for better impact. In addition, when an intrusion occurs, the two strobe lights will turn on to provide you with a clear image. Furthermore, the built-in MIC & speaker makes it easy for you to remotely communicate with people in front of the camera. The PTZ has 4X Motorized Zoom, IP66 weatherproof design, and can be used in outdoor applications such as apartments, factories, and construction sites.
On Board Storage (Edge Storage)
This Uniview Active Deterrence Mini PTZ Camera has a MicroSD Card slot for On board Recording. On board recording can be used as a redundant video storage with data saved even if network connection is lost.
True WDR
The IPC6324LWH-AX5C-VG2 Active Deterrence IP PTZ Camera has True 120dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). Scenes with a variable range of light are difficult for most cameras. However, with True WDR Cameras, scenes are rendered in full detail for bright and dim areas simultaneously. This is especially helpful in applications such as entry ways where you may have dim lighting indoors, but your doorway or windows have bright sunlight. See our sample image below!
