This SM1-WPW Outdoor Microphone is a rated for Harsh Environments. Used for IP Cameras and CCTV applications, the Microphone is an amplified, Omni-directional microphone. It can be used in conjunction with your DVR’s or NVR’s as well as IP Cameras to add Audio Surveillance to your Security Application. The Microphone is Outdoor rated and requires a small bit of wiring for hook up. Omni directional microphones are microphones that pick up sound with equal gain from all sides. In other words, this CCTV Microphone will pick up sound equally from the Front, back, or either side. As a Weather proof microphone for hostile environments, this unit can be used in outdoor applications such as, on board ships, rooms that are washed down daily, applications in harsh weather and more. The SM1-WPW has a high performance, durable electret element can withstand direct exposure to high pressure water and even submersion without affecting operation. Includes a removable .5 inch wind screen inserted into a directing tube. Cast Aluminum plate mounts on any flat surface or on a single gang “bell box”, gasket included.

Can also connects directly to a switcher, mixer or amplifier, or use one of many interface products to make fast and clean connections to DVRs or remote monitoring equipment.
