The Motorized Zoom (Vari-Focal) lens offers a range of viewing angles when installing your security camera. For instance, a popular lens option would be a 2.8-12mm Lens. This lens would allow for a Wide View (2.8mm) or a Zoomed In View (12mm) or anything in between. Therefore, you can set the camera to the angle or FOV (Field of View) that you need for each camera. This comes in handy if one camera needs to focus at the end of a driveway while another needs to cover a very wide area. Additionally, these cameras will Auto-Focus saving time on installation.
